We appreciate you taking the opportunity to come and enjoy your day at the golf course. We want to assure that the club is taking numerous precautions in making sure that Carolina National is a safe environment for our members, guests and staff.
We are currently employing the following precautions and policies in accordance with local, state, and national guidelines and recommendations:
Per the North Carolina Governor's most recent executive order, effective November 25th, face coverings must be worn in all indoor settings except when eating or drinking, regardless of your distance from others. The order also mandates face coverings in outdoor setting when a social distance of six feet can not be maintained. Carolina National will insist on compliance with this order from all players, visitors, and staff. Please, be sure you have your own face covering when coming to the property as we do not have a supply to issue for those who are without a covering.
** With the institution of North Carolina's Phase 3, we have returned to the standard of two players per cart. Effective October 5th, 2020 single rider cart requests may be honored based on availability but will be subject to an additional $25.00 cart fee.
Players may pre-pay for their round if they wish. This can be done over the phone the day of play. Frequent guests may securely put a credit card on file for their convenience to authorize future transactions. Member charges can be applied without entry into the golf shop.
If you pay at the golf shop desk, please swipe your own credit card and, unless requested, there will be no receipts. Credit cards are preferred over cash.
ON THE COURSE
The bag drop staff will assist you with your golf bag as needed.
ALL GOLF CARTS ARE STERILIZED BEFORE & AFTER EVERY ROUND.
A modified hole/cup on the green may be used to minimize common contact situations.
Use of golf cart coolers, divot sand bottles and other common items may be available by request if desired.
Water cooler stations will not be in use on the course.
Please handle your own trash and personal items in the golf cart upon the completion of play.
Before and after the round, players should not congregate in large groups and use social distancing to limit contact with individuals outside of your playing partners.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
The snack bar is now operating seven days a week for to go food & beverage while playing golf.
The Plantation Grille has resumed normal hours with lunch service from 11a-4p everyday, while dinner service is currently limited to only our Friday Pub Night and monthly Tuesday Prime Rib dinner at this time. The restricted maximum occupancy limit of the restaurant is 78 people with no more than 10 people at a table.
In order to accommodate as many guests as possible, we may encourage drinking only patrons to utilize the seating on front porch of the clubhouse during times of higher volume.
We will be using many single-use items, including menus, plates, utensils and condiments.
Reservations will be required for all dinner seatings to help manage capacity.
We will continue to adhere to all recommended safety guidelines across the club. We ask that everyone please do their part as well. Protecting out families and neighbors is priority number one. Practice the three W's, be considerate and visit nc.gov/covid19 for more information. As always, if you are not feeling well or have concerns- please stay home.
We will communicate any future updates through our e-club and post to this page. If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to contact General Manager, Steve Beecroft.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We hope everyone continues to stay healthy and well,
